Shipping our puppies is easier than ever! They are placed in an area of the plane near the galley where it is air conditioned and of course pressurized - just like all other passengers. They ARE NOT shipped in a cargo area of the plane! You would be very surprised if you could see all of the pets at the shipping counter. We use Delta and United Airlines and they ship a tremendous number of pets each day. To date, ALL of our babies shipped have arrived in excellent condition and settle right into their new environment. Please do not request us to ship the baby the day before or the day after a holiday. The airlines are just too busy during holidays and we prefer not to ship at these times.
As we all know, the airline industry has undergone a lot of changes. All of us MUST have patience during the shipping process. Flights change-even after we have our confirmation-and have to be re-booked; they are cancelled due to hot/cold temps; it is just something we have to deal with.
Remember, just because an airline may serve your local airport, it MAY not mean that we can get your puppy to that airport. Many times we have to ship to the larger international airports that can handle the larger jets. The smaller jets many times do not handle any live animals.
NOTE: IF SHIPPING IS INCLUDED IN PRICE OF PUPPY IT DOES "NOT" INCLUDE ANY EXTRAS SUCH AS IN FLIGHT KENNELING, ETC. NORMALLY THIS IS NOT NEEDED THO.
